Student publishing
Publishing an academic article is an excellent way for a student to stand out when applying to university. Several reputable academic journals accept high-quality work from school students. The Thought Academy connects bright pupils with Oxbridge tutors who can help them develop their writing and, when it is ready, submit it to an academic journal.* Students who enter the Lyceum Essay Prize may also choose, with support from this course, to develop their entry into an article suitable for publication.
*Note that we cannot guarantee that a student’s work will be accepted for publication.
One-to-one tutorials
Tutorials have been at the heart of the Oxbridge experience for centuries. Individual attention from a subject specialist creates a learning environment in which students can progress at an accelerated pace. These tutorials are especially well suited to bright and curious students aged 16–18 who would benefit from academic enrichment in the subject(s) they intend to study at university. They provide an excellent foundation for success in university applications and beyond.
